Children stay home for fever with illness symptoms, repeated vomiting or diarrhea, a contagious illness, or any day they cannot comfortably participate. Return plans follow current health guidance, the child’s care needs, and their clinician’s advice for child-specific concerns.

Children are released only to people approved by the family. A new pickup person must be communicated ahead of time and complete the program’s identity and permission check. If anything is uncertain, the child stays with Miss Jasmine until a parent confirms.

We care for the hurt child first, get low, name the feeling, hold the safety limit, and help the child regulate with an adult before repairing and rejoining. Incidents are documented and shared privately. No shame charts, isolation, or “bad kid” labels.

Each child’s potty plan is followed with reminders, spare clothes, privacy, and kind words. Accidents are expected, handled quietly, and shared with the family without embarrassment.

Bumps, falls, bites, bathroom accidents, and other incidents are documented and communicated. Emergency contacts, care notes, first-aid supplies, exit plans, and an outdoor meeting place are kept ready. Immediate care comes first, followed by family notification as quickly as possible.

Children’s names, schedules, profiles, care notes, pickup information, and private photos live in the protected family portal and never belong on the public website.

The curriculum is designed for children ages 2–5. Activities have easier and more challenging ways to join so a younger child can explore beside an older preschooler without being expected to perform at the same level.

Jammin’ Sprouts is not presented as an accredited preschool. Its current small-group and remote learning formats are documented clearly, and any future expansion in enrollment, hours, location, or child-care services will happen only after the applicable Nevada and North Las Vegas requirements are verified and completed.

For online class, a learning device, crayons, and the shared workbook cover the basics; most activities use simple household materials. For in-person mornings, families bring a backpack, water bottle, lunch unless otherwise arranged, extra clothes, and their show-and-tell item on Fridays.

It means connection before correction and development before performance. Children learn through relationships, movement, play, repetition, stories, and hands-on discovery. We use calm redirection and co-regulation—never shame charts, demerits, or labels.

The hello and goodbye songs pair English lines with Spanish lines. Children also hear and practice Spanish greetings, weekdays, weather words, and useful everyday vocabulary, with simple ASL signs woven into songs, greetings, feelings, and classroom routines. The goal is a warm foundation and genuine exposure, not a claim of full language immersion or formal ASL instruction.

Gently and in age-appropriate ways: gratitude, kindness, service, and wonder are part of the rhythm. During check-in, children can name how they feel and something they are thankful for. Faith supports belonging; it is not used to shame, frighten, or measure a child.

The remote class is short, interactive, and broken into movement-sized pieces. Children sing, speak, show objects, and move their bodies; then the day continues away from the screen with books, art, play, and a real-world mission. A parent or caregiver stays nearby as the child’s learning partner.

Families send a can’t-make-it note so Miss Jasmine knows not to wait. The online class can travel with the family when the child is comfortable joining; missed in-person days are welcomed back without pressure or punishment.

Families receive a clear update through the portal. Depending on the situation, class may be shortened, adjusted for remote learning, rescheduled, or canceled. Children are not handed to an unannounced substitute.
